On the tech side, I'm a computer programmer. I taught myself programming on a VIC-20 when I was 10, and it's pretty much all I've really done since then. I studied computer science at the University of Texas at Austin, where I spent about 9 years all together before the siren song of dot com stock options convinced me that I'd spent enough time straddling the fence between work and school.
Since then, I've worked at a number of small tech companies. Most recently I worked at JBoss (Red Hat) as a developer on the Seam Framework. Currently I'm back in the crazy land of startups, working at Socialware.
